Open Chair Learning

Open Chair Learning believes there’s always a chair for everyone at our table. That belief applies to our website as much as it does to our programs and events. We want every child, caregiver, volunteer, and supporter to be able to use this site, regardless of ability or the device and assistive technology they use.

Our commitment

We are working to make oclearning.org meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We review our pages as we build and update them, and we fix accessibility problems as we find them.

How we do it

  • Write descriptive alternative text for meaningful images.
  • Use clear headings and plain language.
  • Design for keyboard navigation and screen reader use.
  • Support zooming and resizing text, and work on phones, tablets, and computers.
  • Avoid content that auto-plays, and respect reduced-motion settings where we can.

Need help or have feedback?

Some parts of our site may not yet be fully accessible, and we’re working to fix that.

If you have trouble using any part of this website, or you’d like information in a different format (such as large print, plain text, or a phone call), please tell us. You can also use this contact route to book a photo session, register for an event, or donate if the online process doesn’t work for you.
